Program Management

Effective leadership requires a unique set of professional skills, including program management. Building the essential tools and skills can enhance your ability to perform in a variety of population health settings by working to ensure that the essential elements of a program and program goals are met by providing decision making capacity that cannot be achieved at the project level. This may be accomplished by prioritizing resources, managing risks, motivating staff, and directing efforts to improve program performance through monitoring and evaluation. Effective use of focused and strategic leadership can help to improve the outcome of current and future projects.
