Scientists and academics have a responsibility to share the meaning and implications of their work. This requires knowing how to communicate complex material in clear, engaging ways that invite the public to the conversation.

Meet the Instructor

Chase Crossno, MPH

is an artist and a public health professional. In 2010 she co-founded Paper Chairs, a theater company which employs art and performance to engage the public in critical conversations about our cultural landscape. Since receiving her MPH from Boston University in 2015, Chase has drawn on her experience in the theater to work with physicians, clinical researchers and faculty in translating their research and scholarship into meaningful information for the public.
