The concept of personal branding isn’t new, but we rarely talk about the benefits and process for curating a personal brand in the field of public health. Whether you’re looking for a job, want a promotion, or are just interested in determining how you come across to others, building and maintaining a strong personal brand is important. In this workshop, you will learn how to identify and shape your personal brand as well as how to connect that brand to your personal and professional goals.
Instructor Emily Barbo has a background in marketing and communications and currently serves as the Assistant Director for the BUSPH Activist Lab. Emily provides an informal, fun atmosphere in which learners are encouraged to interact and explore their values and aspirations in order to create a personal brand that authentically communicates their best selves and professional expertise.
