Boston University School of Public Health’s Population Health Exchange (PHX) and SHIELD are collaborating to offer an exciting new Leadership Program for School Nurses.

Anticipated* program topics include:

• Strategic Management Skills
• Developing Your Leadership Strengths
• Developing Effective Teams
• Managing Conflict
• Communication for Impact
• Mentoring

In addition to providing deep learning opportunities in leadership, this workshop will lay the groundwork for participants to develop a statewide school nurse mentoring program. Work on designing the mentoring program will occur during the 2019 school year.
