Julia Raifman, ScD, SM

is an Assistant Professor of Health Law, Policy & Management at BUSPH. Dr. Raifman uses econometric methods to conduct research on policy drivers of health inequities and on structural barriers and facilitators of HIV/STI prevention and treatment. Her policy research includes studies linking LGBT rights and mental health based on difference-in-differences approaches to causal inference. In her ongoing research, Dr. Raifman is evaluating policy drivers of racial and ethnic health disparities and of mental health.
